Business Innovation Funding Support for Setters

Welsh Government’s SMART Innovation (SMART Cymru) Funding Programme and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Setters are delighted to announce the support funding they are receiving through the above SMART Innovation Scheme.

Setters are undertaking a major re-organisation programme and business re-modelling initiative to position themselves as “fit for the future”.

The multi-faceted programme has been developed through close collaboration with clients, suppliers and end-users, to develop our existing and future partnering arrangements, and through the medium of a Client Delivery Platform (CDP), extend Setters’ reach both nationally and internationally.

The programme commenced formally in July 2020, when the funding was secured and is due to be completed in March 2021.

Setters Chairman, Graham Setter, says:

The SMART Innovation funding support has been critical to enabling us to deliver the ‘full programme’ and not be restricted to a challenging ‘self-funding’ budget.  It has also been a boost to our confidence that the Welsh Government has seen fit to support a Culture Development Programme in the context of innovation.

He continued:

Even at this early stage of programme implementation, the feedback and tangible commitment from our clients is very encouraging and augurs well for the future.
