Case Studies Tata Steel
One of the world’s pioneering steel companies, Tata Steel manufactures a wide range of steel products.
Setters have been a trusted partner to TATA Steel; having delivered, over a number of years, accredited safety training and co-designed safety training across a range of risk and process topics including; IOSH accredited training, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, Manual Handling, COSHH and Confined Space.
Setters have also been engaged by TATA Steel to deliver the accredited Safety Coaching Modules, specifically the Supervising and Coaching Safer Teams event which aims to increase the confidence and confidence in Supervision in order to put people to work safely.
Case Study Electro Impact
Electro Impact is a world leader in design and manufacturing of aerospace tooling and automation.
Setters have a long standing relationship of delivering training to Electro Impact, due to our ability to combine health and safety expertise, practical operational knowledge and coaching techniques.
Setters were engaged by Electro Impact to deliver Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA) training to their operations team. This included providing an understanding of DRA, the choices people make in regards to safety, what underpins behaviour and building the competence and confidence of their staff in the use of the DRA Tool.
Setter’s co-designed training approach employed a number of approaches to ensure the maximum learning opportunity and knowledge transfer including classroom learning, group discussion, workshops and practical site application.
Case Study Welsh Government
Setters won a tender process to design and deliver, on behalf of the Welsh Government, Supplier Development Service (Business Wales), training, workshops, and 1:1 Support to SME’s in North/Mid Wales in order to embed within the supply chain competence, knowledge, and skills.
This took the form of:

• Asbestos Awareness Training
• 1:1 Performance Improvement Coaching
This partnership has trained nearly 100 organisations (SME’S) within Wales.
